Happy New Year!
We are all anxious to get out on the trails but I am afraid there isn’t enough snow on the Massie Trails yet. There are only a few centimeters of snow on the trails, less than in Owen Sound. We need enough to take the snowmobile out without banging into rocks and roots before we can pack down a base and then start to groom the trail. It has been a painfully slow start to the season but as the lakes are unlikely to freeze over this year maybe we will see some squalls late into the season.
