The Ski Season is Over

Posted on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

As predicted, the flooded creeks and swamps have meant an abrupt end to a wonderful ski season. A huge shout-out to our amazing grooming team, Carl, Gary, Nils and Paul, who went above and beyond to keep the trails in good shape during this very snowy winter. Many hours on the groomer. Thanks guys! Till

Awesome Spring Skiing!

Posted on Friday, March 14, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

Could be the last ski day! There is bound to be much flooding this weekend. It was fabulous yesterday afternoon, and it will be great again today once the temperature reaches 4 degrees or so and the tracks soften up. Get out there and enjoy the sun!

Don’t hang up your skis yet!

Carl was out on the groomer yesterday afternoon tidying up the trails and setting great tracks as the snow started firming up. (Like spring skiing, it's all about the timing.) It's doubtful the tracks will soften today, but tomorrow afternoon and/or Friday morning might be the time to go out for one last spring ski

Sunny Spring Skiing

Posted on Monday, March 10, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

The tracks are fast this morning but will soften up as it warms up.  The sweet spot should be around mid day, before it gets too slow.   Enjoy!

Good Tracks!

Posted on Saturday, March 8, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

The skiing was remarkably good yesterday, considering the weather we had this week. The trails are in good shape. It should be great spring skiing this weekend. Tracks could be glazed and fast in sunny places, powdery and slow in other areas. Enjoy!

Spring Skiing Conditions

Posted on Friday, March 7, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

Carl was out grooming yesterday and assessing the trail after the rain.  With a little bit of  snow last night, we have reopened the trails.  It is spring skiing, which means variable conditions. It will be a little rough in the pines, but pretty decent in the hardwoods.  Enjoy!

Trails Temporarily Closed

Posted on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

Due to the rain and the soft conditions, trails are closed until cold weather, and hopefully some snow, return. Looking forward to some steady and stable spring conditions; there is still a good base out there.

Report from the trail

Posted on Sunday, March 2, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

Fair to good conditions, similar to yesterday. The tracks are variable: rough in some places, especially in the conifers, more enjoyable in the hardwoods. Hills are hard and fast; best to avoid until the snow softens.

Trails groomed this morning

Paul was out this morning, working with a tiny bit of new snow. Conditions aren’t great, we need much more snow. If you venture out, be cautious especially on the hills.

Trails open, ski with caution

Posted on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 by Kelly Rogers

The tracks are still in good shape after the last couple of warm days. The windfall has been cleared, although the trails are a bit rough through the conifers. Tracks will be super FAST, especially this morning, so ski with caution. We recommend skiing up the hills unless you are an expert and like going
